Interim Financial Accountant
3–6 Month Contract | London | Hybrid Working
MLC Partners are working with a large, nationally recognised UK charity to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant for an initial 3–6 month role. This role will support the finance team during a busy period and focus heavily on fixed asset accounting and register management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong systems and excel capability to join a complex organisation with a significant asset base.
Key responsibilities:
*Maintaining and reviewing a large Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
*Supporting capitalisation, disposals and depreciation processes
*Performing balance sheet reconciliations related to fixed assets
*Working closely with finance colleagues to ensure accuracy of asset reporting
*Supporting month-end and financial reporting activities
*Utilising Agresso (Unit4) to manage financial data and reporting
*Using advanced Excel to analyse, reconcile and manipulate large datasets
Key skillset:
*A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Proven experience managing or working with large Fixed Asset Registers
*Strong Agresso / Unit4 system experience
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with complex financial data
*The ability to work independently in an interim environment
