Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to take operational ownership of planning, procurement, and warehouse activity for a fast-growing UK food brand.
The business is scaling quickly. Demand is increasing across both UK retail and international markets, and the supply chain now needs a dedicated leader to bring structure, control, and commercial rigour to the operation.
This is a hands-on role with real influence across the factory, commercial teams, and supplier base.
You will own the end-to-end flow of materials and finished goods, ensuring the business maintains strong service levels while building the operational discipline required for continued growth.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the supply chain function across procurement, production planning, stock control, and warehouse operations.
This includes:
• Owning raw material and packaging procurement, including supplier management and cost optimisation
• Translating sales forecasts into practical production plans that balance service levels with factory efficiency
• Managing raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring accuracy, visibility, and control
• Overseeing goods-in, goods-out, and warehouse operations
• Working closely with logistics partners to maintain reliable inbound and outbound flows
• Using ERP/MRP systems to manage planning, reporting, and stock data integrity
• Delivering operational improvements across planning processes, controls, and routines
• Leading supply chain activity for NPD launches and packaging projects
This is a visible role in a growing SME where the supply chain function directly impacts commercial performance.
What We’re Looking For
• Supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing
• Strong capability across procurement, planning, inventory, and warehouse operations
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems alongside strong Excel capability
• Ability to operate hands-on in a fast-moving production environment
• Confidence working cross-functionally across factory, commercial, and finance teams
