Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Acton (Secondary SEN School)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Acton this April.
This inclusive school is well-regarded for its supportive ethos and commitment to helping every child reach their potential. This role is ideal for a psychology graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience supporting children with special educational needs before pursuing a career in educational psychology, clinical psychology, speech and language therapy, or teaching.
You will work closely with class teachers to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them engage confidently in their learning and development.
Role details:
Full-time position, term time only
Starting April 2026
Friendly working hours and supportive staff team
Ideal candidate:
Psychology graduate or final-year psychology student
Interest in child development, SEN, or mental health
Patient, reliable, and passionate about inclusive education
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language, or similar) is desirable but not essential
