Credit Controller – Temp to Perm
Location: Crystal Palace
Pay: £15–£18 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time
Start: ASAP
Contract: Temp to Perm
About the Role
I am supporting a team in Crystal Palace in their search for a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership of the ledger, and contributing to a fast-paced, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
*Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
*Setting up new customer accounts and performing credit checks
*Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries
*Producing aged debt reports for management
*Working closely with internal teams to improve cashflow
*Supporting month-end finance processes where needed
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in credit control (essential)
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Confident managing difficult conversations professionally
*Good Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables an advantage)
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
