We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Ely, who are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time position which is office-based, and to be successful you will need to have experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
*Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting with Sales Ledger duties including invoicing and credit control
*Reconciling payments and processing invoices
*Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
*Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider finance team
You will have:
*A professional accounting qualification (AAT) or Part-Qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
*Excellent communication, both written and verbal
*Sound accounting knowledge and strong technical skillset
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
