Job Description:
SF Recruitment are working with a well-established business based in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant looking to join a supportive finance team in a varied role with strong exposure to management reporting and financial analysis.
You will play a key role in supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insight to support decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting
Support the preparation of year-end financial statements
Cost analysis across nominal ledger accounts to support management reporting
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
VAT reconciliations and preparation of VAT returns
Support stock and inventory reconciliations
Assist with financial controls and reporting processes
Provide general financial support to the wider finance team
About You
Recently qualified CIMA / ACCA, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Previous experience within a management accounting or similar finance role
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous but is not essential.
