Electrical Design Engineer
Up to £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits

I am currently working with an engineering business in Hereford that’s looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to its growing team. Given your background, I thought this could be of interest.
This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to £45,000 plus benefits, where you’ll play a key part in taking products from concept through to production. You’ll be involved in both new product development and continuous improvement, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
What you’ll be doing:
*Leading electrical design for special purpose equipment (schematics, control panels, cable schedules)
*Selecting electrical components with compliance and safety in mind
*Supporting PLC-based control systems
*Producing detailed electrical documentation and contributing to design reviews and testing
What they’re looking for:
*Experience in electrical product design or development
*Background in R&D or New Product Development
*Strong attention to detail and a structured, proactive approach
*Experience with control panels, PLCs, or VSDs would be an advantage
