We are working exclusively with our Luton based client looking to appoint a Purchase Ledger \ Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy and efficient finance department. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity starting as soon as possible.
Working as part of a supportive and efficient team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function.
Key Responsibilities
*Matching and processing supplier invoices accurately
*Performing regular bank reconciliations
*Raising and processing supplier payments
*Undertaking supplier statement reconciliations
*Liaising with departments across the business to resolve invoice queries
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous accounts payable experience and be comfortable working in a busy, but calm and engaging environment. You will be able to work todeadlines, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach are essential.
Remuneration & Benefits
*£29,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)
*Full-time: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)
*Office-based role
*23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing with service
*Pension scheme
*On-site parking
