Job Description:
EAC are currently recruiting for a Product Support Technician on behalf of a well-established technical organisation based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering interest or technical background who has recently Graduated.
This position offers exposure to multiple areas of the business including service delivery, technical support, equipment management and small hardware projects. Full training will be provided by experienced industry professionals.
On Offer:
*Salary £26,000
*9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)
*25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
*Company pension (5% employee contribution / 3% employer contribution)
*Full training within a specialist technical industry

As a Product Support Technician, you will support a range of operational and technical activities across the business. The role is varied and will involve assisting with equipment hire, stock management, customer support and technical troubleshooting.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about remote environmental monitoring solutions and assist with technical support for customers using a bespoke monitoring platform.
Key Responsibilities*Checking and packing goods for sales, hire and calibration orders
*Unpacking and checking goods received from suppliers and customers
*Monitoring stock levels of both sales and hire equipment
*Liaising with customers via email and telephone to determine hire requirements
*Logging and tracking equipment requiring service and calibration using internal systems
*Preparing hire agreements and sales orders and updating company systems
*Checking instrumentation, identifying faults and carrying out basic repairs where possible
*Assisting with low-level electronic builds by connecting existing hardware products
*Supporting customers through remote monitoring systems and providing technical assistance
Key requirements include:
*Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
*Interest in engineering, electronics or technical products
*A curious and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
*Ability to manage multiple tasks in a varied environment
Desirable:
*Experience working in a technical or engineering environment
*Experience delivering high levels of customer service
*A qualification in a technical or numerate discipline (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent)
