Job Description:
The Compliance Coordinator will ensure that all operations within the transport and distribution sector adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of compliance within logistics.

Description
*Ensure services meet legal, customer, and internal quality standards.
*Maintain, monitor, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
*Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of BRCGS certification.
*Analyse performance data and produce quality and compliance reports.
*Develop, update, and manage quality procedures, controls, and documentation.
*Provide internal support for IT/telephony systems and act as the main contact for service providers.
*Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
*Deliver quality-related training and support staff in adopting quality standards.
*Respond to customer complaints professionally and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
*Enforce health & safety standards, investigate incidents, and ensure a safe working environment.
Profile
A successful Compliance Coordinator should have:
*Experience in compliance within the transport and distribution industry.
*Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in logistics.
*Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
*Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external regulators.
*Proficiency in using relevant software for compliance tracking and reporting.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
