Job Description:
Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a role where you can take ownership and make an impact? Axon Moore are recruiting a standalone Payroll Assistant to join a high-growth, highly reputable business in South Leeds. This is a unique opportunity to manage all aspects of payroll while working independently in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Process payroll for all employees, including starters, leavers, amendments, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)
*Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records, liaising with HR and other departments
*Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare BACS payments, and issue P45s
*Handle payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation
*Perform manual calculations and support pensions and benefits administration
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven payroll experience in a similar role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident working independently with full responsibility for payroll
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Sage payroll experience desirable
