Corporate Tax Solicitor (2-6years’)
A leading UK law firm is seeking a senior solicitor to join its Corporate Tax team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with an interest in corporate tax, transactional tax and tax advisory work to develop their career within a highly regarded and collaborative team.
You will work alongside experienced lawyers and tax specialists, supporting a broad range of corporate, commercial and property-related transactions for a varied client base.
Key Responsibilities
*Advising on the tax aspects of corporate and commercial transactions
*Supporting the tax structuring of acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations
*Assisting with tax considerations in commercial property transactions
*Advising on employee share incentive arrangements
*Drafting and reviewing transactional tax documentation
*Providing general tax advisory support to clients and colleagues
*Contributing to client updates, seminars and knowledge sharing
About You
You will ideally have:
*2+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience)
*A genuine interest in corporate or transactional tax work
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication and drafting ability
*A pragmatic and commercial approach to legal advice
*The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
*A collaborative approach to working within a multi-disciplinary team
