Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment is partnering with a busy manufacturing business to recruit a Tooling Technician. This is a hands-on role, responsible for delivering first-class maintenance of injection mould tools.
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (mornings, afternoons & nights)
Salary: £37,918
Location: Mansfield
Responsibilities*Carry out maintenance of plastic injection mould tooling – including cleaning, inspecting, rebuilding and testing mould tools
*Complete pre-planned maintenance (PPM) activities
*Ensure all electronic maintenance records are accurate and up to date
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the Toolroom
*Monitor and maintain stock levels of tooling spares
*Operate Toolroom machinery (training will be provided where required)
Requirements / Experience*Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices, including COSHH, Abrasive Wheel regulations, and Manual Handling
*Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes and tooling
*Familiarity with Toolroom machinery and its capabilities
*Good understanding of the Toolroom’s role within a manufacturing environment
*Computer literate with the ability to maintain accurate records
*Flexible and reliable across rotating shift patterns
*Positive, proactive "can-do" attitude
*Willingness to learn both on-site and off-site
*Able to follow verbal and written instructions
*Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
