My client is a well-established international B2B events business, delivering large-scale conferences and exhibitions across multiple industries worldwide. They are looking for an Event Operations Manager to join a highly skilled, supportive operations team - a group genuinely passionate about what they do and known for their innovative, ambitious culture. The Role
This is a genuine step-up opportunity for an experienced B2B events professional ready to move towards an Operations Manager level position. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of large-scale UK & European conferences and exhibitions, managing suppliers, floor plans, budgets, and on-site delivery.
*Plan and deliver large-scale B2B conferences and exhibitions
*Create and manage floor plans and venue logistics
*Track budgets and monitor gross profit margins
*Liaise with suppliers, venues, and contractors
*Oversee H&S compliance, risk assessments, and build schedules
*Work as part of a forward thinking events operations team.
*Travel to the event for on-site delivery
Experience & Skills
To be considered for this Event Operations Manager role, you will need:
*Minimum of 2 years of events operations experience gained in a b2b conference, exhibition or tradeshow environment – this is essential
*Direct experience liaising with suppliers
*Hands-on floor plan and budget tracking experience
*The ambition to step up and take on more responsibility
*A collaborative, ideas-driven approach and a love of live events
