CAD Technician Job in Ferndown


We are proud to be representing our well established and successful manufacturing client in Ferndown. They are a specialist within the construction industry, and they are looking to recruit a new a CAD Technician to join the team. The role of the CAD Technician will be to work within their existing contracts team.


Salary and Benefits:


*A salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
*Monthly payment intervals
*Working Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week, between 8.00 am – 4.30 pm
*Company pension scheme


Duties and Responsibilities:


*Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
*Producing drawings using AutoCAD
*Preparing Technical and Sample submittals
*Liaising with Contractors, Architects and End Users
*Document management utilising online Intranet based document control systems
*Preparation of associated documentation to ensure compliance
*Liaison with manufacturing partners


Skills and Experience:


*Previous background within the Construction Industry would be desirable
*Experience of working with AutoCAD
*Focused team player
*Commercially aware
*Ability to work under pressure and to precise deadlines
*Ability to instigate changes for continuous improvement
*Excellent communication skills
*Full product and system training will be provided
*No known health risks for this role
