are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant based in Barnsley to work with SEN/SEMH pupils in a classroom environment, starting ASAP!
* Location - Barnsley
* Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
* Start Date - ASAP
* Duration - Ongoing
* Contract type - Long-Term
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Rate of Pay - GBP95 - GBP115 per day (dependant on experience)
* Hours 8:30 am 3:30pm : Mon Fri (term time only)
Responsibilities:
Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
Prepare resources with the teacher.
Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* At least Level 2 trained
* GCSE English and Maths grade C
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
