ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT
We are seeking an Alumni Engagement Coordinator to support a major long-term fundraising and alumni engagement campaign. The role involves strengthening relationships with alumni by assisting with engagement activities, facilitating volunteering opportunities, and supporting operational and data processes that enhance the alumni experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and a proactive approach to building meaningful connections, acting as an ambassador for both the organisation and the Advancement Division while maintaining professional standards and reputation.

ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT ROLE:
*Handling alumni enquiries via email, phone and ticketing, signposting as needed and recording all interactions in Blackbaud Nova
*Maintaining and updating alumni CRM records, including contacts, preferences, events, consents and graduation data, processing data batches and queries in line with UK GDPR, PECR and internal governance
*Drafting, proofing and distributing alumni communications such as event invitations and volunteer opportunities, and supporting updates to alumni webpages, LinkedIn and Imperial Plexus in line with brand guidelines
*Monitoring alumni inboxes and LinkedIn groups, triaging enquiries and updating corresponding CRM records
*Administering alumni volunteering, including registrations, matching, logistics and stewardship communications while tracking participation in the CRM
*Supporting alumni events, including Graduation through on-the-day logistics and post event data and communication follow-up
*Providing general administrative and project support across alumni engagement as required
ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
*Communicating effectively with strong written and verbal skills
*Maintaining high attention to detail
*Delivering strong customer service
*Using databases and CRM systems confidently
*Bringing preferred experience within higher education
