About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Band 6 Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to join a dedicated imaging team in Carshalton on an ongoing locum basis. This full-time opportunity offers competitive hourly pay and the chance to further develop your expertise within a supportive clinical environment.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging services to both adult and paediatric patients. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnostics and safe, effective patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Practice
*Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging for adult and paediatric patients
*Administer radiopharmaceuticals in line with departmental protocols
*Undertake cannulation confidently and safely
*Ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity at all times
Collaboration & Communication
*Work closely with radiologists, clinicians and wider multidisciplinary teams
*Contribute to discussions regarding imaging findings and patient management
*Provide clear information and reassurance to patients and families
Governance & Compliance
*Adhere to radiation protection regulations and health and safety standards
*Maintain accurate records and imaging documentation in line with departmental policies
*Support quality assurance and continuous service improvement initiatives
Requirements*HCPC registration as a Radiographer
*Post-registration experience within Nuclear Medicine
*Competency in cannulation
*Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory requirements
*Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
*Full UK driving licence
