District Sales Executive
Location: Bristol (Western Approach area)
Employment Type: Full-time
Package: £35-40k basic package plus OTE and bridging commission in the first year.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated District Sales Executive to join a leading organisation in the global logistics and supply chain sector. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, spotting commercial opportunities, and representing a business that delivers high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
In this role, you’ll manage your own territory, develop a strong understanding of the market, and play a key part in growing new and existing customer partnerships. You’ll be supported by a collaborative regional team and benefit from ongoing professional development.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Managing a designated sales territory and maintaining detailed awareness of prospects, competitors, and market trends.
*Updating and maintaining customer information using a CRM system.
*Building trusted relationships with clients and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
*Creating value-driven proposals such as operational flow diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.
*Supporting the successful onboarding of new clients and helping to ensure a smooth transition process.
*Assisting with credit and accounts receivable processes when needed.
*Completing credit setup activities for newly acquired customers.
*Participating in training to continually strengthen product knowledge and sales capability.
*Attending local networking or trade events as required.
*Making monthly outbound sales calls and joining scheduled client meetings with management.
*Meeting individual revenue and performance targets.
*Maintaining a varied and healthy sales pipeline across different service areas.
*Providing additional support and taking on new projects aligned with business needs.
What We’re Looking For
*Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
*Experience within the logistics or global supply chain sector.
*Proven sales experience in a relevant market.
*Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills.
*A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
*Confidence in relationship-building and delivering engaging presentations.
