Primary Teacher (PPA Cover - 3 Days per Week)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster from April 2026, following the Easter break. This is a part-time PPA cover position working three days per week (Monday to Wednesday), providing high-quality teaching across different classes while enabling class teachers to access their planning, preparation and assessment time.
This role would suit a flexible and confident primary teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. The school is a supportive environment committed to creating engaging learning experiences and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
The Role:*Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across a range of primary year groups as part of PPA cover

*Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

*Follow lesson plans provided by class teachers while adapting delivery to meet pupils’ needs

*Support pupils’ academic progress and encourage positive learning behaviours

*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff to ensure continuity in learning

*Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil engagement and progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

*Have experience teaching within a primary school setting

*Be adaptable, organised and confident teaching across different year groups

*Demonstrate strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

*Be committed to supporting pupils’ learning, development and wellbeing
