Job Description:
St Paul’s Girls’ School is an extraordinary institution. While we consistently achieve some of the best GCSE and A-level results in the country, we believe education is about far more than exams. With fewer rules and no uniform, we actively nurture creativity, curiosity and a love of discovery. Our rich co-curricular programme builds confidence, encourages independence and strengthens our connection with the wider community. It’s a distinctive environment – ambitious, thoughtful and forward-looking – but most importantly, it is a place where people matter.
This sense of freedom extends to the people who work for us, so you can expect considerable scope to demonstrate your potential and enhance your skills. To support this, we are now seeking an experienced Resourcing Manager to shape the future of our workforce and elevate our recruitment strategy across teaching and professional services roles.
In this newly developed position, you’ll lead our end-to-end recruitment function, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and driving a high-quality, candidate-centred experience. You’ll develop our employer brand, implement best practice and drive continuous improvement.
A key part of the role will be championing Safer Recruitment and ensuring full compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), including ownership of the Single Central Register and oversight of all pre-employment checks.
You’ll bring strong stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Line managing the Resourcing Coordinator, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, digital efficiency and service excellence.
We’re looking for someone with:
*Significant experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle
*Strong knowledge of resourcing best practices, workforce planning and talent pipeline development
*The ability to analyse recruitment data, identify trends and drive improvements
*Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
*Confident stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
*A commitment to inclusive recruitment and high professional standards
Experience in the education sector is welcome but not essential.
In return, you can expect a comprehensive package of rewards, including a pension scheme, private medical insurance after five years’ service, life assurance, season ticket loan, free access to our extensive leisure facilities, free lunches, free eye tests, an advice and counselling service and a generous reduction on fees for your family.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact at a school renowned for academic excellence, creativity and innovation. If you’re driven, people-centred and excited to shape a modern and progressive resourcing function, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date: 22 March 2026.
