Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join a thriving "Outstanding" rated school in Islington as a SEN Teaching Assistant for the upcoming academic year.

Role Details
Position: Psychology Graduate - SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday, Term Time)
Duration: Full Academic Year (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
What You’ll Be Doing
*Supporting pupils with a range of learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
*Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students reach their full potential
*Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
*Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Gaining valuable experience in behaviour management and SEN support strategies
What We’re Looking For
*A recent Psychology Graduate (or related degree)
*A genuine interest in child development and inclusive education
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude
*Previous experience working with children or in a care setting is desirable but not essential
