Job Title: Lecturer in Hairdressing
Location: Gloucester / Cheltenham
Contract Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 4–12 weeks

Rate: £33.01 per hour


We are seeking an experienced Lecturer in Hairdressing to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to Further Education students. This is a short-term opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of hair professionals.
You will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical hairdressing lessons across Level 1 to Level 3 students, ensuring learners are supported to develop their technical skills and industry knowledge.


Key Responsibilities
*Deliver Level 1–3 Hairdressing lessons covering both practical and theory elements
*Assess student work and evaluate practical hairdressing skills
*Monitor and track student progress, ensuring learners remain on target
*Provide guidance and feedback to support students’ technical development and confidence
*Maintain a safe and professional learning environment within the salon and classroom


Requirements
*Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing (essential)
*Previous teaching experience within the Further Education (FE) sector
*Strong industry knowledge and practical hairdressing expertise
*Ability to engage and motivate learners at different levels
