We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading property consultancy for an Assistant Accountant to join their Bristol based team. The Role:
As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
*Processing financial transactions and preparing accounts up to trial balance.
*Completing bank reconciliations, managing tenancy deposit accounts, and processing rent demands.
*Preparing VAT returns and verifying new suppliers for payment runs.
*Liaising with agents to manage debtors/creditors and handling client queries professionally.
*Supporting the implementation of effective systems and processes while maintaining financial controls.
What We’re Looking For:
*AAT qualified (or studying) or experienced bookkeeper with strong accounting knowledge.
*Confident using accounting software (Xero experience desirable) and proficient in Excel.
*Strong numerical, reconciliation, and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
*A collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with stakeholders.
*Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior internal leaders.
