What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Kitchen Assistant/Trainer
*Supporting daily kitchen operations while maintaining excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards
*Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks within the coffee shop
*Helping deliver catering services including buffets, refreshments, cakes, nursery food, afternoon teas across the borough
*Working directly alongside trainees to support learning and practical work experience
*Ensuring health, safety, and food hygiene standards are consistently followed
*Supporting deliveries and occasional transport duties using company vehicles
What you’ll bring to the table as a Kitchen Assistant/Trainer
*Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or coffee shop environment
*Knowledge of food hygiene and safe kitchen practices
*Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism
*Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and trainees
*Full UK driving licence
Working hours: 18 hours per week, 9:00/9.30am – 3:00/3.30pm across 3 days (with additional hours available to cover holidays or sickness).
