Job Description:
Role: Receptionist
Location: Central London
Hours: 9 am – 5 pm
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Type: Full-time, 6-month FTC, office-based
A prestigious, forward-thinking company based in the heart of London is seeking a bright, polished and proactive Receptionist to join their Administration team. Known for their warm culture and professional excellence, the business values personality just as much as experience. This is a key front-of-house role where you’ll be the face of the company.
What You’ll Do:
*Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome
*Manage a busy switchboard and take accurate messages
*Book and manage 13 meeting rooms using Outlook
*Coordinate and set up meetings with refreshments and catering
*Perform hourly checks on meeting rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness
*Ad hoc administrative duties
*Order and maintain stock of office supplies, milk, fruit, tea, and coffee
*Manage post handling and IT logging
*Help plan and support monthly staff socials and events
*Maintain clear communication with all internal teams and uphold office standards
Who You Are:
*A friendly, approachable and confident individual who takes pride in their appearance and presentation
*Calm under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude
*Strong communicator, both written and verbal
*Organised and reliable, with great attention to detail
*Confident using Outlook, Zoom, Teams, and other Microsoft Office packages
*A true team player, happy to support colleagues and contribute to a positive office environment
*Ideally has experience in a receptionist or busy customer-facing role
*Able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting
