We are seeking an articulate and engaging GCSE English Language Tutor to support a student in Hereford. We are looking for a specialist who can help bridge the gap between "reading the text" and "analysing the craft."
The Role*Hours: 2 hours per week.
*Location: In-person, Hereford.
*Key Focus: Improving creative writing, mastering non-fiction analysis, and refining SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar) for maximum marks.
Requirements*Proven Experience: Extensive experience delivering GCSE English Language tuition with a focus on exam technique.
*Strategic Thinker: Ability to teach students how to "explode" a quotation and structure high-mark responses (e.g., PEEL/PETAL paragraphs).
*Compliance: A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
*Reliability: Someone who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
