Job Description:
Role: Account / Sales Executive
Location:Burntwood, Staffordshire
Salary Range:circa.£32-34k plus bonus (OTE £40k+)
Employment Type:Full-time, Permanent, Office based role
Working Hours:Monday to Friday, office-based
Are you a motivated sales professional eager to take charge of a varied customer base and contribute to the success of a dynamic manufacturing company?
Our client, a fast-expanding business, is looking for a confident and driven Sales Executive to cultivate and grow relationships across a broad spectrum of customers.
This role is anticipated to be 80% account management with 20% new business sales.

What You’ll Do
*Manage a busy account portfolio of repeat customers, fostering strong, ongoing relationships.
*Understand customer needs to provide tailored product advice and accurate quotations using CRM tools.
*Actively pursue new business and responding promptly to web and phone enquiries.
*Re-engage previous customers to revive sales opportunities.
*Keep customer records current and participate in regular sales meetings and product training to stay informed and effective.
Key Duties
*Maintain and develop customer relationships with consistent communication and exceptional service.
*Spot opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
*Prepare and issue quotes accurately, ensuring CRM data is up to date.
*Generate new leads through proactive outreach.
*Handle inbound enquiries efficiently and professionally.
*Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to remain knowledgeable about product updates.
*Contribute insights and forecast sales during monthly meetings.
*Engage in continuous product training to enhance your expertise.
About You
*Proven sales experience, ideally within manufacturing, industrial, or a related sector.
*Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and influence clients.
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management.
*Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
*Confident in making outbound calls and managing customer enquiries.
*Self-motivated, positive, and eager to develop professionally.
*Able to work independently and as part of a team.
