Dental Lab Manager(may suit someone with a background as a Practice Manager or Lab Manager)
The Opportunity
A well-established and friendly dental laboratory is looking to appoint an experienced Lab Manager to oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and act as the key point of contact for dental practices. Known for delivering high-quality dental appliances and maintaining strong client relationships, the lab prides itself on precision, reliability, and a collaborative team culture.
This position would suit someone who enjoys combining organisational oversight with strong communication, ensuring that laboratory work flows efficiently while maintaining excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage the workflow of cases entering and leaving the laboratory, ensuring smooth and efficient processing.
*Liaise with dental practices to confirm case requirements, provide progress updates, and handle queries.
*Coordinate with laboratory technicians to resolve any technical or workflow issues promptly.
*Maintain clear communication between the laboratory and clients to ensure expectations are met.
*Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
Candidate Profile
*Previous experience in a dental laboratory environment is highly desirable.
*Strong organisational skills with a methodical and detail-focused approach.
*Confident communicator with excellent telephone and email etiquette.
*Proven ability to manage people and support a small team effectively.
*Comfortable using IT systems for case management and communication.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
