MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting an Interim Accountant, on a 7-month fixed term contract, to join a reputable business based in Hadleigh. As an Interim Accountant you will be confident in documenting processes and participating in subsequent process reviews to improve internal controls and efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Apply hands on processing skills to access financial information directly from source systems.
*Produce analysis that evidences the accuracy and completeness of accounting accruals and financial accounting statements, including internal management accounts and statutory reports.
*Demonstrate strong knowledge of core accounting and transaction cycles for an SME, including:
*Procurement to Pay
*Order to Cash
*Record to Reporting
*Manage transaction processing linked to a long-established Invoice Financing facility, ensuring:
*An up to date and fully reconciled sales ledger
*Accurate reporting and processing of client debit notes
*Correct treatment of retrospective discounts, overriders and sales support charges.
Key Skills & Attributes:
*Qualified accountant or QBE will be considered.
*Strong financial reporting and process documentation skills.
*Hands on approach to data, analysis and reconciliations.
*Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to prioritise.
*Confident, self-motivated and collaborative.
