Job Description:
Your New RoleAs a Mid-Weight Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, working closely with senior colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll contribute to detailed design, technical documentation, and project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the delivery of projects valued between £300k-£10m across diverse sectors.
*Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and BIM documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
*Assist with site appraisals, feasibility studies, and planning applications.
*Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
*Attend site visits, design team meetings, and client presentations.
*Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and sector-specific standards.
*Contribute to collaborative working across disciplines and internal knowledge sharing.
*Provide support to senior technologists and architects while developing your own technical expertise.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
*Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification.
*2-5 years’ experience in a UK architectural practice.
*Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM experience desirable.
*Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and specification writing.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*CIAT membership (or working towards) desirable.
*Ability to work within QA standards and contribute to sustainability objectives.
