ORACLE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
Rate: £550 – £600/day (negotiable for the right candidate)
Location: Hybrid – London, 2–3 days per week on site
Type: Permanent – contract also considered
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Management Consultant to join a major programme in London. You will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders across Oracle SCM implementation and enhancement workstreams, managing product features, priorities and roadmaps while working closely with internal and external development teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
*Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project vision and progress
*Engage with stakeholders and SMEs to assess priorities and available resources
*Manage and support projects and change requests to deliver agreed outcomes against the roadmap
*Implement functional changes while managing subject matter experts and functional specialists
*Support operational teams through testing, change management and related activities
*Define and prioritise product features through extensive collaboration and negotiation
*Analyse data and customer feedback to understand pain points and drive improved outcomes
*Document and present technology proposals and recommendations to the Head of Product
*Drive continuous improvement in technical solutions supporting London client priorities
Skills & Experience
*Minimum 5 years Oracle SCM experience, with at least 3 years in Oracle SCM modules: Asset, Inventory and Supply Chain applications
*Functional lead or product owner experience, ideally within internal project environments
*Knowledge of SaaS back-office solutions including Oracle Cloud, Oracle Transport Management, Tranman or similar Fleet Management platforms
*Experience in technology project management and managing functional enhancement teams
*Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmaps and end-to-end supply chain, inventory, asset and transportation management
*Detailed knowledge of product lifecycle processes including testing and change management
*Experience in Agile methodology and delivery
*Knowledge of shared services and best-in-practice ERP platforms
*Public sector or policing experience desirable
