Location: Leiston, Suffolk — 100% Onsite, 5 days per week
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting a Desktop Support Engineer for a site-based IT support role in Leiston, Suffolk. This is a fully onsite position supporting users across multiple nearby locations. A site vehicle is provided for local travel within approximately 25 miles.
Key Responsibilities
*Windows 10/11 laptop and desktop builds — OS installation and application deployment via Azure AD
*Device management via Microsoft Intune Portal
*Resolving tickets for Windows 10/11 deployment issues and user requests
*User account creation, Microsoft Exchange support, and printer support
*1st line network support and antivirus management
*Windows patch deployment and O365 troubleshooting
*CMDB management and device lifecycle tracking
*Physical device dispatch — packaging, labelling, and shipping to user locations
*Travelling to nearby customer sites using a provided site vehicle
Essential Skills
*Proven Desktop Support experience — onsite and remote
*Strong Windows 10/11 hardware and software troubleshooting
*Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, and O365 knowledge
*PowerShell scripting experience
*Excellent customer-facing communication skills
