Job Description:
We are recruiting for a very specialised position working within healthcare travel!
The role of Healthcare Travel Planner requires you to be familiar with co-ordinating complex travel for this type of client as well as having strong knowledge of the compliance and regulations that surround it.
Working within a new division of this established Travel Management Company, you’ll be experienced in moving individuals globally for the purpose of events, conferences, relocations and more.
Schedules in this sector can change quickly so you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable handling last-minute changes to itineraries.
You’ll be working in a role where you are genuinely making a difference to the world! You’ll be instrumental in getting doctors, surgeons, nurses and more to where they need to be, and when.
Details of the role:
Work location: Home based (UK) or, hybrid (London)
Working days: Monday- Friday, hours 08:30am- 5pm and 09:30am -6pm
Type of business: Global company with a rapidly developing Meetings and Events division.
The experience we’re looking for:
*Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant/Groups Travel Consultant with knowledge of pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical travel clientele.
*Excellent airline fares knowledge
*Full competence on a native GDS, ideally Sabre or Amadeus
*Strong attention to detail and organisation
*Ability to stay calm and efficient when things change quickly
*Great communication and customer service skills
