Job Description:
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are supporting a business based in Tewkesbury who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on an interim basis for 4 months.
Start Date: March 2026
Duration: 4 months
Location: Tewkesbury
Hourly rate: £14.35 + holiday pay
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, office based
Responsibilities:
*Set up and maintain supplier accounts in the purchase ledger
*Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
*Handle supplier enquiries
*Reconcile supplier statements and aged creditors
*Process weekly BACS payments and petty cash transactions
*Accurate filing and scanning of invoices
*Assist with monthly statutory reporting
Desired experience/background:
*Proven previous experience within purchase ledger
*Initiative to work in both individually and in a team environment
*High attention to detail
*Great communication
*Computer literate
