Digital Asset Manager - Contract
Agency - Telco Client
£350-£390 per day - Outside IR35
London - 1 day per week in the office
This is an opportunity to step into a key Digital Asset Management and CMS role for a major Telco client, shaping how content and experiences are delivered across their digital channels. You will be taking over from an established specialist, so there is a clear roadmap, the chance for knowledge transfer, and a lot of impact from day one.
The Company
They are a well known consumer-facing Telco client with a large digital footprint and a strong focus on customer experience. Their digital teams are investing in modern content platforms and personalisation, with Contentful at the heart of their ecosystem. You will join a collaborative environment, working closely with product, marketing and technology stakeholders. This is a contract role, 4 days per week, offering hybrid working with time split between home and their London office.
The Role and Deliverables
*Take ownership of the CMS and Digital Asset Management setup, ensuring Contentful is configured to support scalable digital experiences.
*Design and optimise CMS architecture that connects effectively with internal and external systems.
*Work with multiple teams to understand content and asset requirements, translating these into robust structures and workflows.
*Ensure digital assets in the DAM are organised and connected so they can be efficiently used to build website and digital experiences.
*Collaborate with teams working on personalisation tools, helping to ensure smooth integration with Contentful and other platforms.
*Support handover and knowledge transfer from the existing CMS specialist to maintain continuity.
Your Skills & Experience
*Strong experience working with CMS platforms, with deep, hands-on expertise in Contentful.
*Solid understanding of CMS architecture, integrations and how to connect content platforms with wider business systems.
*Practical experience with Digital Asset Management, including how assets are structured, stored and surfaced for web experiences.
*Familiarity with personalisation tools that integrate with CMS platforms, such as Adobe Target or Optimizely, is highly desirable.
*Comfortable collaborating with cross functional teams, gathering requirements and translating them into technical configuration.
*Able to start at short notice and commit to a 6 month contract, 4 days per week, including 1 day per week on site in London.
