Job Title: Company Accountant
Location: Cannock
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with varied experience across Transactional Accounting and Management Accounts from an SME business.
We are currently recruiting for a fabulous Reed client based in Cannock. Our client is well recognised and a truly exciting business! They are looking for a company accountant to take the reigns on all things accounts. We are looking for a confident and friendly all-rounder with proven experience across Transactional Accounting and Management Accounts. The ideal candidate will be able hit the ground running and will be trusted to manage the Accounts for the company. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced individual to make a positive impact on a fantastic business!
Responsibilities Will Include:
*Manage the day-to-day running of the company accounts, understand what exactly is coming in and going out!
*Take control of the monthly Management Accounts, ensuring they run smoothly and on time.
*Be responsible for reporting on profitability and be key in decision making along with the Director.
*Be a point of contact across the business for any Accounts queries, ensuring transparency and support.
Ideally, You Will:
*Have experience as a Bookkeeper or Company Accountant, we are looking for an experience candidate that can hit the ground running and take the reigns!
*Be confident in running all elements of Management Accounts, this is an essential task for the Company Accountant.
*As the company use Xero as a system, experience in this would be ideal but is not essential.
*Have a keen eye for detail and process improvement, you will be trusted to run the accounts as you see fit!
