Job Description:
Marks Consulting Partners is currently looking for a Senior Housing Officer to work with one of our Charity Association clients in Surrey
What the Job Will Be Doing*Leading the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused housing management services.
*Managing complex tenancy, safeguarding, and estate management issues.
*Providing housing-related support to residents to help them sustain their tenancies.
*Working closely with external agencies, local authorities, and legal representatives.
*Supporting residents with welfare benefits, financial management, and tenancy responsibilities.
*Driving service improvements and ensuring KPIs and service standards are achieved.
*Contributing to policy, procedure, and service development across housing management.
*Supporting the wider property and maintenance teams to resolve housing and repair issues.
What You Will Need*Essential: Level 4 qualification from the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH)
*Proven experience within housing management or tenancy sustainment.
*Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practice within the social housing sector.
*Experience managing complex tenancy issues, safeguarding, and resident support.
*Ability to work collaboratively with external partners and statutory agencies.
*Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
*Experience supporting residents with welfare benefits and financial matters.
*Ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver person-centred housing services.
