These are the areas you will learn about:
*You will create VAT Reporting Spreadsheets
*You will populate the spreadsheets with monthly data
*Present data and analysis to the Tax Accountant
*Review approx. 40,000 lines of transactional VAT each month
*Check that the right VAT code has been used
*Check that the transaction has been correctly analysed as input or output
*Review foreign transactions across c. 10 foreign VAT registrations
*Review VAT Reverse charge transactions
You will need strong communication and Excel skills and a strong understanding of double entry. Experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger or VAT would be advantageous.
