The Opportunity:
We are supporting a growing performance marketing specialist that partners with some of the most dynamic consumer brands in the market. With a proven track record of delivering commercial impact and a mature, high quality delivery model, the organisation has built a strong platform for growth. It is now focused on strengthening a strategically important mid market engine that will shape the next stage of its evolution. To support this next chapter, the organisation is seeking a Sales Manager who can bring drive, clarity and leadership to a high potential commercial function, helping to elevate sales capability, shape go to market execution and unlock long term growth.

Role Profile:
As Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the day to day performance and development of the mid market sales function, operating as a true player manager who balances personal contribution with coaching, structure and sales discipline.

• Lead outbound business development, driving activity from initial outreach and conversations through to proposals, presentations and conversion.
• Develop and mentor a small team, building confidence, strengthening technique and improving overall commercial effectiveness.
• Shape and refine the mid market proposition and go to market approach, ensuring it is clear, consistent and aligned to market needs.
• Work closely with demand generation and internal specialists to coordinate activity and improve the quality and flow of opportunities.
• Guide consultative, multi stakeholder sales processes with structure, clarity and strong follow through at every stage.
• Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline oversight and reporting to ensure accurate visibility and predictable commercial performance.

Person Specification:
• Proven experience leading and developing small sales teams, creating a structured, high performing environment through clear coaching, support and direction.
• Background in consultative, service led B2B new business, with the ability to build strong relationships and guide prospects through thoughtful, multi layered buying decisions.
• A confident and credible hunter closer, skilled in discovery, communication and value positioning, able to build trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable navigating longer, consultative sales cycles, adapting approach to different audiences and maintaining clarity throughout complex conversations.
• Commercially curious, proactive and resilient, showing energy, positivity and a strong desire to achieve results for both yourself and your team.
• Collaborative and relationship driven, able to work cross functionally and build partnerships internally and externally that support long term revenue growth.
