Our client who is a well established Maintenance Provider who are looking to add an experienced M&E Compliance Manager to join a team in West London. Please note that our client requires the Compliance manager to come from a technical background.
M&E Compliance Manager Duties:
*Administer the client Permitting System (TAP) for our client and contractors.
*Train staff on use of the permitting system.
*Act as the main contact for permitting escalations across the estate.
*Advise our client and account team on permitting and system improvements in line with legislation and best practice.
*Develop and maintain controls to ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
*Monitor and improve the effectiveness of compliance controls.
*Review procedures and reports to identify risks and non-conformities.
*Draft and implement policies, toolbox talks and RAMS.
*Work with corporate counsel to ensure regulatory compliance.
*Report monthly to the client HSQE representative on near misses, incidents and SLA performance.
*Identify health, safety and compliance issues and provide guidance or training where required.
*Keep up to date with regulatory changes and best practices.
*Prepare reports for senior management and regulators as required.
*Maintain statutory logbooks and schedule third-party inspections.
*Conduct audits and ensure actions are closed out.
*Work closely with the client on internal and external compliance matters.
M&E Compliance Manager Requirements:
*Technical background with a minimum City & Guilds Level 3 trade qualification or equivalent.
*Minimum 10 years’ engineering experience.
*Ideally holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
*NEBOSH certification or higher Health & Safety qualification.
*At least 5 years’ experience in Permit Management or proven experience managing permit systems.
*Demonstrated experience working as a Compliance Manager or in a similar role.
*Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
*Comprehensive knowledge of Internal ISO Auditing.
*Strong understanding of the Fire Safety (Regulatory Reform) Order and Building Safety Act.
M&E Compliance Manager Salary & Benefits:
