Senior Travel Consultant – 24/7 Team
We are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join our 24/7 operations team, delivering exceptional service and support to clients outside of standard office hours.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled business travel professional with experience managing complex international travel and marine/offshore itineraries. You will play a key role in providing expert travel solutions, resolving urgent travel disruptions, and ensuring travellers receive outstanding support whenever they need it.
As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will also act as a mentor within the team, supporting colleagues while helping maintain the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities *Manage complex international corporate and marine/offshore travel bookings
*Book and manage all aspects of travel including flights, hotels, and ground transportation
*Provide out-of-hours emergency travel support and resolve urgent disruptions
*Handle high volumes of complex transactions while meeting customer SLAs
*Build strong relationships with clients and understand their travel preferences and requirements
*Maintain strong knowledge of airlines, fares, routes, and travel suppliers
*Utilise GDS and travel technologies to deliver efficient travel solutions
*Participate in customer meetings and service reviews
*Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
*Promote best practices and contribute to continuous service improvement
Skills & Experience *Proven experience in business travel operations
*Experience managing marine/offshore crew changes or complex international travel
*Strong knowledge of airlines, airfares, and travel suppliers
*Highly proficient using GDS systems
*Ability to manage urgent travel disruptions and emergency situations
*Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
*Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues within a team
