Job Description:
Pure are partnering with a well established organisation seeking a handson Accountant to support their team on a 6 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings strong treasury experience to the table.
As the Management Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting operational teams, and ensuring robust financial controls. A significant focus of this position will be on treasury management, including cashflow support, bank reconciliations, and contributing to short and longterm financial planning.
You’ll be working closely with both finance and non?finance stakeholders, providing insight, analysis, and reliable management reporting. The key responsibilities are as follows -
*Lead on treasury related activity including cashflow support, bank analysis and reconciliations.
*Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Provide financial insight and support to teams across the business, helping drive informed decision making.
*Assist with standard cost and variance reporting, ensuring meaningful commentary and analysis.
*Support statutory reporting requirements including HMRC submissions and national statistics.
*Collaborate on OPEX reporting, KPIs, and monthly board packs.
*Upload data into group reporting systems and meet all internal deadlines.
*Support budgeting, forecasting, and medium to longterm planning cycles.
*Contribute to project analysis, capex submissions, and yearend audit preparation.
*Provide guidance to the Finance Assistant on reconciliations and account maintenance.
You must have the following set of skills - *Strong management accounting experience.
*Proven treasury exposure—cashflow, reconciliations, banking oversight.
*Excellent analytical and communication skills.
*Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels, including non finance teams.
*High attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
*A proactive, solutions focused approach.
