About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 General Radiographer to join a dynamic AHP Radiography service. This full-time, ongoing role offers the chance to work across multiple sites, providing a varied and engaging work environment. With an immediate start available and a competitive hourly rate, this position is ideal for a motivated radiographer looking to develop skills, gain broad experience, and be part of a supportive multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Band 5 General Radiographer, your responsibilities will include:
*Performing a wide range of general radiography imaging procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
*Operating and maintaining radiography equipment in line with safety standards and departmental protocols.
*Working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team to support optimal patient care.
*Producing high-quality diagnostic images and contributing to accurate and timely reporting processes.
*Providing compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the imaging pathway.
*Ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R, health and safety regulations, and local policies.
*Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality assurance and service improvement initiatives.
Person SpecificationEssential:
*HCPC registration.
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Band 5 General Radiographer.
*Strong technical skills and sound knowledge of general radiography procedures.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
*Full UK driving licence to support travel between sites.
*Experience working across multiple clinical settings.
