Group IT Manager
Barnsley, South Yorkshire – Site based
Salary up to £70,000 + car allowance
Elevation Tech & Transformation is recruiting exclusively for a hands-on Group IT Manager to lead a small IT team for one of our key clients in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of the IT function, drive system improvements and deliver strategic IT projects.
What You’ll Do:
*Manage the day-to-day running of the IT department.
*Lead upgrades and development of business systems, including current ERP.
*Oversee IT infrastructure, hardware, software and remote site connections.
*Manage IT projects and vendor contracts, ensuring efficient, secure and high-quality delivery.
*Train and support staff to build confidence in IT systems.
*Maintain backups, security and ensure reliable service across all sites.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience managing IT in a multi-site environment ideally withing manufacturing
*Strong technical knowledge of business systems, infrastructure and IT project delivery.
*Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development.
*Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
