We are looking to recruit a Youth Justice Officer in the Youth Justice Team within Islington. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their youth justice staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Youth Justice Officer includes:

*Prepare high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (PSR), Referral Order and Breach Reports for court
*Undertake detailed assessments using AssetPlus to inform intervention and risk management plans
*Deliver structured and sequenced interventions to reduce reoffending and manage risk of harm
*Monitor and manage risk and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action and escalation
*Work in close partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to achieve positive outcomes
*Support young people to access education, training, and employment opportunities
*Contribute to team meetings, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
*Ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting in line with statutory requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

*Eligibility to work in the UK
*Previous Youth Justice experience
*Preferably a Qualified Social Worker or Probation Officer
