Junior Town Planner

Gatwick Office with Hybrid Working

£27,000 to £30,000 + Bonus + Structured Training + Clear Progression + Healthcare plan

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established multidisciplinary planning and highways consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure and regeneration sectors. With multiple growing offices and a strong pipeline of work, the business continues to invest heavily in developing future planning professionals.

You will join a structured graduate development programme designed to support your progression toward chartership and senior planner level. Working alongside experienced planners, you will assist in research, planning applications and project coordination while gaining exposure to client meetings, committee processes and site visits.

The company has an excellent track record of promoting from within, with many senior leaders having progressed from graduate level. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Town Planning degree, be highly organised and enjoy working within a team environment. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

The Role:

*Supporting preparation of planning applications and statements
*Undertaking planning policy and site research
*Assisting with project coordination and documentation
*Liaising with architects, consultants and third parties
*Attending client meetings and planning committees
*Supporting senior planners across a variety of projects

The Person:

*Master’s degree in Town Planning or related discipline
*Strong organisational and research skills
*Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
*Proactive and eager to learn from senior professionals
*Comfortable in a team environment
