Management Accountant
East London (3 days office / 2 days remote)
£37,000 - £40,000 per annum + benefits
We are partnering with a growing organisation in East London to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to step into a broad and hands-on role within a supportive team environment.
Reporting to the senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations (bank, stock, intercompany and fixed assets)
* Support and deliver the month-end close process within agreed deadlines
* Produce monthly P&L analysis with clear and insightful commentary
* Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly EU VAT returns
* Liaise with external accountants, providing information for statutory reporting and VAT queries
* Produce monthly global client revenue
About You:
* Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong general ledger experience with exposure to month-end processes
* Confident managing reconciliations across multiple accounts
* Comfortable working with international entities and multi-currency environments
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A collaborative team player who can also work independently
