Job Description:
Humanities Teacher | Wirral | Start ASAP
We are looking for passionate Humanities Teachers (QTS/ECT) to join our partner secondary schools across the Wirral Peninsula.
Whether your heart is in the lessons of the past (History), the challenges of our world (Geography), or the diversity of belief (RE), we have a role that matches your expertise and your lifestyle.
Requirements:
*QTS or equivalent.
*Good communication skills and subject knowledge.
*A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
Key Duties:
*Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 that bridge the gap between History, Geography, and RE.
*Use proactive behaviour management to ensure a focused and respectful learning environment.
*Provide intensive support and revision techniques for Year 11 students approaching GCSEs.
*Regularly mark work and use data to identify and support students who are falling behind.
*Contribute to the creation of innovative resources that reflect the diverse culture of Liverpool.
*Attend parent’s evenings and provide clear, professional updates on student progress.
