Residential & Commercial Property Paralegal
Location: Hertford
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (Office Based)
A well-established law firm in Hertford is seeking a Residential & Commercial Property Paralegal to support a Partner within their busy property department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with prior property experience to join a friendly and professional team.
The Role The successful Paralegal will work closely with a Partner, assisting on a range of residential and commercial property matters while helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the Partner with a variety of residential and commercial conveyancing matters

* Preparing legal documentation, contracts and correspondence

* Opening and managing client files, ensuring compliance procedures are followed

* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties

* Conducting property searches and preparing reports

* Supporting with exchange and completion processes

* General administrative support within the property department

Requirements * Previous experience in a residential or commercial property paralegal role is essential

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

* A proactive and professional approach to supporting a senior fee earner

Salary & Benefits * £25,000 - £26,000 salary
